Remembering 2 Historic Dates in Ohio!

Congratulations to all of you for staying strong, studying, working from home and supporting our great State of Ohio! At this time, since I can’t be live and in-person at your school, I want to share our Ohio history with you here online.
My O is for Ohio presentations are all about the beauty of our state, the diversity of our people and the strength and courage of all Ohioans, Buckeyes as the world knows us best!

This spring of 2020, we mark 2 important historical events in Ohio:
217 years ago, on March  1, 1803, we transitioned from the Northwest Territory to becoming the 17th state of the United States of America.
We also celebrate the birthday of our State Flag, adopted one century after we officially became a state and on Saturday, May 9, 2020 our flag will be 118 years old.

Email me and share your Ohio story at oisfoohio@aol.com

Stay safe and be well.
Best Wishes,
